Probate and Wills
It is important for everyone, regardless of their age or financial position to make a Will. By making a Will you can make sure that your tax liabilities are minimised and that your dependants are provided for.
We have a fixed fee for preparation of a standard Will of £250 plus vat.
When somebody dies their ‘estate’ has to be dealt with i.e. by collecting in their assets, paying their debts and tax and distributing what is left to the beneficiaries. This can be a complicated process, especially for larger estates.
We can help you through a difficult bereavement by dealing with the estate for you. If we can help you please contact us.
We are also able to help if matters become contentious i.e. if a Will’s validity is challenged, also with Inheritance Act claims.
Litigation
When the threat of litigation arises we are here to help you. We are able to assist clients with a variety of matters such as:
- Contract Disputes
- Trust of Land Act claims (i.e. claims for a share in a former partner’s property)
- Debt Recovery
- Contentious Probate
